Dear Neighbourhood House Board members, volunteers & staff,
Every House that is a financial member of Neighbourhood Houses Tasmania has the right to nominate a delegate for election to the Neighbourhood Houses Tasmania Board. A delegate must be either an employee or financial member of their House’s Association. The nomination must be proposed by an Executive Committee Member of the House represented.
The Neighbourhood Houses Tasmania Board is saddened to advise you that on the 21st May, Kate Beer stepped down as NHT’s President and Board Member.
Kate has decided to take some well deserved leave and spend some time with her daughter and granddaughter. We are sure that she will also take some time to watch her beloved Collingwood when the AFL is eventually up and running again!

Our theme for the week is “#togetherwearetheanswer”. This reflects our commitment to working together to support our communities and build a brighter future for all. Neighbourhood Houses and Centres across Australia are also celebrating this week.
The Australian Government has announced a range of assistance packages to help businesses and not for profits affected by Covid-19. To find out more check out their Fact Sheet and visit the ATO to stay up to date.
NHT is currently experiencing some difficulties with our phone system. Please either leave a message or email either email@example.com or an individual staff member. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
